Community Reformed Church of Manhasset continues to respond to the needs of youngsters in crisis with teddy bear hugs. Our mission is to provide teddies for the North Shore Hospital Pediatric and Palliative care units of the hospital. 

Susie Johns organizes the Sunday School and parishioners who love to hug teddies as they prepare bears for distribution.

Medicine takes many forms, and hugs help the healing.

Two year old Chris is in a full body cast, hospitalized for a month after an auto accident.  His spirits were certainly lifted at the sight of a big blue teddy ... and so were moms.
