Teen Board Representative
Emmy is currently a high school senior on Long Island. She is the Founder and Director of Teens Take Charge, a nonprofit online database to help teenagers on Long Island find community service opportunities which spark their interest. The website, connects high school students with over 50 local organizations whom they can assist.
Emmy is involved with many other community service ventures, including an art therapy program she created in which students at her high school and residents of a local home for developmentally disabled children meet weekly to express themselves creatively. She is also an involved member of both her school's newspaper and literary magazine. Next year, Emmy will be enrolled as a freshman at Brown University.
