DC Hugs chapter donates 43 teddy bears to the staff of the Washington Police Department’s Victim Services Unit of the Criminal Investigation Division.

Jay and friends from his Chapter in DC take teddies to the Pediatric unit at Georgetown University Hospital.

Many of these bears were hand stuffed by diligent fingers, then tagged and prepared for delivery! Love the red wagons, Jay!

Jay D. Krasnow is an artist and poet (www.hyperactivestyle.com.) His art was recently seen in Artomatic, a month-long multimedia arts event, regularly held in the Washington metropolitan area. He is interested in the "arts" and using his talents to develop benefits in which musicians and artists of all kinds give of their talent to provide cultural and "fun" experiences for children with cancer. He is developing a Hugs Chapter to provide teddies for youngsters receiving cancer treatment in local DC hospitals.

Jay is eager to get things rolling with a large group of volunteers and fund raising ideas. Anyone interested in helping just email Jay.
