In this often troubled and troubling world, it is our mission to bring comfort to children in crisis through the hugs of teddy bears and messages of loving care.

In our continued response to the needs of children, Hugs Across America Inc., has provided over 300,000 teddy bears in the face of emergency. We are responding to:
The simplicity of this idea and its immediate easing of fear and anxiety is clear. Perhaps this child's letter makes the point most compellingly.
 Bagels and Bears is a group that meets on Sunday Morning to write out notes and bag bears for distribution. Children helping children is an important concept of our mission. Children love it and know that helping other children, particularly those who are hurting, does matter!
