How To Get Involved With Hugs Across America?
There are many choices:
- Volunteer: You can volunteer to work with your local chapter, to “bag and tag” teddy bears for immediate need in your area or nationally.
- Start a new chapter: If a chapter is not available in your immediate area, how about starting a new one! It’s not hard, not expensive, not too time consuming (many hands make light work) and most importantly, helps comfort children in crisis.Think about it… talk to some friends or groups that might be interested in community service and remember… it is through service that we will change the world.
- Fundraise: Either donate directly, think of something that you and your friends might do to earn some money, talk to a foundation that is sensitive to children’s issues, or speak to someone responsible for corporate benefit money.
