Thank you to Katie Hopkins for the blue teddy bear they gave our son while he was treated in the hospital in Nashua, NH. It really made his treatment less scary and he loves the teddy bear. This is a wonderful program!

My family and I are visiting North Myrtle Beach this summer and as we were walking down the street a police officer-Officer Lewis-stopped in front of us and opened his trunk. I wasn't sure what he was doing. I was holding my 11 month old son and couldn't figure out why he had stopped. My sons face lite up when Officer Lewis came over with a "Hugs Across America" bear. (We named the bear Lewi after the officer!!) I had never heard of the organization but am so encouraged with the heart behind it. God bless you as you minister to the children of our broken, hurting world.

I work in a hospital and I can tell you this is one of the nicest gestures you could make especially when a child is afraid.

I just can't thank you enough for what you are doing to comfort my friend Judy's children and students. She was an Awesome Special Education teacher who always stood up for what was right and taught with love. Her light will always shine in our hearts. Rock on My Friend Judy! Rock On!

I am a Red Cross Disaster Relief worker. I went door to door helping families during the North Dakota floods. I loved seeing the children's eyes light up when I gave them a Teddy Bear. (OK, I gave to some adults too, who promised to pass it along to their children and grandchildren.) Thank you for your good work, Hugs AA.

My niece is involved with this through her school and I couldn't be more proud of these children thinking of other children in their time of need. They should be proud of themselves as well. Keep up the good work angels!!

My niece, Annabella Rose, passed away in April 2007. This year, for Christmas, I will be making a donation to Hugs Across America in her name. I think that your organization is amazing and I am honored to contribute to the cause.
