17 dead in mass shooting by former student.

 Relatives and friends of the victims mourn and honor those they lost.

 The 17 dead include students and teachers.  Many of whom died trying to save those who were responding to a fire alarm pulled by the shooter.  Others were injured and taken to local hospitals, including at least 14 who were treated at Broward Health Medical Center and Broward Health North in Deerfield Beach. Several were in critical condition.

Hugs provided 300 teddies to the Social Services Dept of the school system for guidance counselors to comfort the students mourning the loss of their classmates and fearing a return to school. It is with great sorrow that we again have to comfort children in school who have watched their friends die so tragically.
