Hugs Across America has given 50 big, new teddy bears to Family Promise of Sussex County in Newton, NJ. Family Promise is an emergency shelter for those who are homeless and at the moment that involves 50 youngsters.  Homelessness in this case may be the result of house fires, floods, eviction notices to parents who have lost their jobs, or victims of abuse who need an opportunity to begin again.  Hugs is delighted to bring some comfort and joy to those children in need.  “Thank you for brightening this day with love.”
