Thanks Hugs Across America for sending teddy bears to Cedar!

HAA, which formed in the aftermath of 9/11, provides teddy bears to lessen the fear and anxiety experienced by children in crisis. The bears have already brought great comfort to Cedars primary students, though many students have decided to pass their bears on to other children who may need comfort. They have written notes to accompany their bears, which will be passed to the BVI Wellness Center to help any other child needing comfort.

Thank you, Scott ( Director of Cedars), Hugs Across America is delighted to be able to bring some comfort  to your children at Cedars.  So hard to imagine  what dealing with not one but two hurricanes that devastated there homes, school and communities must have felt like to a child. Just glad that they are now able to get back to lessons and friends; and, that hugging their teddies is bringing smiles to their faces and comfort to their hearts.
