The NYPD took 50 Hugs teddy bears with them on both their first and second “Mercy” trip to Puerto Rico after hurricane Maria. It was very difficult to get goods into Puerto Rico because of the devastation and we were delighted to be able to help. Much of the Island is still without power and is just beginning to rebuild.
