We are joining the efforts of Operation Teddy Care in preparing teddies for the children impacted by the Japanese earthquake and tsunami.  They are setting up drop off centers up and down the West coast in preparation for shipping bears to Japan.

If you have interest in helping with this project please let me know and I will get specific information to you. It may be a while before this can be implemented, as shelters in the affected area are remote and food, water and medicine go in first…but the children will need comforting as well as the hope that comes from knowing that people care.  The hug of a teddy can do just that.

In NYC I am preparing teddies for youngsters in our area who have family in the devastated areas.
