Big Red Bear Hugs!
“On Saturday, January 8th, 2011, about 30 Cornell alumni, current students, and friends gathered in Morristown, NJ to stuff some bear skins for their ‘Big Red Bear Hugs’ event. This was part of a university-wide volunteer effort known as ‘Cornell Cares Day’, which happens annually in January to bring alumni and current students together. In total, the Cornellians stuffed 60 bears that can now be donated to children in need of hugs!” The bears will be delivered to local Pediatric Emergency units at the Morristown Hospital.
