Janet has been actively working to start a Hugs Across America Chapter through her start up church in Bluff City Tennessee. While working on that process a tornado ripped through a near by town and threw Janet right in the middle of coordinating and collecting teddies for the American Red Cross shelters serving the victims of the tornado. Over 250 teddies were sent to Tennessee by Hugs National and Janet actively pursued the support of many local churches in our joint effort to meet the needs of victims.

Janet, who currently works for a not for profit organization known as Frontier Industries will be working to provide bears for victims of child abuse as well.
