St. Paul’s Chapel
209 Broadway (Bt. Broadway and Fulton)
New York, NY 10007
St. Paul’s Chapel is the oldest building in continuous use within the United States.
Miraculously saved as The Towers fell on 9/11/01 just a few feet from her door, and yet not a window broken, a brick dislodged, nor a pew damaged. This miracle became a blessing few would know but those who did would revere, as rescue and recovery workers found solace and comfort in God’s hotel…and yes, found the hugs of teddy bears. Those little bears were part of the story of Hugs Across America, as thousands of contributed teddies made there way to the arms, helmets and hearts of those who searched for our heroes.
Today St. Paul’s continues to receive teddy bears from those across America who visit Ground Zero and wish to continue their love…
Thank you to all who care!
St. Paul’s Chapel and “Hugs Across America” invite you to help us send teddy bears to the children of our New York National Guard Troops deployed in Iraq and Afghanistan.
