Director, Women’s Ministries
Reformed Church in America

Mary Clark coordinates the ministry of women within the Reformed Church in America. Speaker, writer and fundraiser, Mary sees her most important ministry as advocate for women.

Mary grew up in the mountains of southeastern Kentucky, the daughter of Methodist missionaries. While in college, she married Stuart Clark, now minister of the Reformed Church in Manhasset, NY. This community on Long Island was hard hit by the tragic events of Sept.11, 2001. Mary worked with others in her church to collect thousands of teddy bears for children during this time of crisis, and helped to inspire Hugs Across America, Inc. She has been an active Board member ever since.

Her love for women’s ministries led to leadership in many RCA committees and she has been the chairperson for Triennial 1995 and Mission 2000. Mary coordinated the fund drive for the Office of Women, and became coordinator of Women’s Ministries in March of 2004.

Mary is the mother of three and active participant in her husband’s parish.
