Drusilla Falco
School Coordinator for Hugs
Drusilla Falco is excited to be helping those in special need through Hugs Across America.
She has worked in the NYC school system for over a quarter of a century- serving as an education administrator, an assistant principal, and a special educator.
Drusilla has directed programs for Preschool Special Education, has taught on the elementary level, and is currently teaching Science and Social Studies in a middle school in Queens, NY.
After receiving an undergraduate degree in Communication Disorders from Queens College (CUNY), Drusilla moved to Vermont where she worked with underprivileged, disabled children in their "back country" homes.
She graduated from the University of Vermont with a Masters degree in Consultant Teacher/Early Essential Special Education. Then she returned to New York and received a second Masters, from Queens College, in School Administration and Supervision.
Drusilla is the proud mother of two daughters, and currently resides with her husband, Michael, in Garden City, New York.
