In Dumas, a small town in the South Eastern corner of Arkansas, a violent tornado slammed into the main thoroughfare, destroying most of the busineses in town as well as homes. Many were injured and few were left unscared, as shelters support those who are left with nothing. The Jefferson County Chapter of the American Red Cross requested 100 teddies. …as one Red Cross volunteer stated; ” We had a Katrina shelter here and bears sure were something that they needed. They really needed to hold onto to a teddy.”
